Kiley is a musician and singer-songwriter located in Eastern Idaho. She creates and performs contemporary folk style music under the stage name kileypet. Her debut album “Mountain Shadows” was released on November 14, 2025.

Kiley grew up playing classical violin. She gradually taught herself guitar over many years and developed her voice through a decade of constantly singing along to her favorite songs. In 2019, Kiley attended the Grand Targhee Music Camp, which inspired a surreal event where she unexpectedly wrote her first song during a 30-minute drive. The song is titled “Eclipse Summer,” and is the fifth track on her debut album. Many have expressed shock and awe that her first written song is of such high quality.

Kiley started steadily writing songs during 2020, and fell into a steady creative flow. She received regular mentorship from the great Joe Craven from 2021-2023 and has grown from attending workshops led by great songwriters such as Darrell Scott, Susan Gibson, and Jackson Emmer.

Her songs are grounded in nature imagery, with earnest depth poetically woven into her lyrics.
